Been awhile since my last update hasn’t it? My 1991 Honda Accord is now sitting at 356 329 kilometers. Still haven’t taken it into the garage, but probably should soon. :S

Well, the Accord has been making some “not-so-nice” noises lately and have gradually gotten worse. Then seem to be coming from the transmission and can only be heard when I’m at 1500 rpms (and lower) when accelerating. Sounds like a terrible grinding/crackling sound…. I’m not looking forward to the possibility of a high cost fix

355 935 kilometers! That’s where the Honda Accord is sitting at right now. There’ll be some more kilometers put on it tonight for sure.

As promised, here’s some pictures of the weather. The pictures make it look not that bad at all. But, the camera also didn’t seem to pick up the blowing winds and terrible road conditions haha.

Not that deep here, but enough to get snow inside my shoes.

… I don’t know what, but it’s a lot! It’s been snowing all night and has been continuing on in the morning. Last I heard it’s going to be snowing all day like this. I just arrived at school after a not so nice slow drive. Running all season tires during this weather is not a good idea, but it’s what I got to deal with.

If possible I’ll try to get pictures of the snow/weather later on.

Also, anyone in the London, Ontario (or anywhere else) when it’s snowing this bad and it’s dark, turn on your lights, and slow down.

This morning I had the pleasure of going out to my car only to find that both my car locks were frozen. On the driver’s side I couldn’t even get my key in, then on the passenger side I could get my key in, but when I turned it to unlock the door it wouldn’t turn all the way, therefore not being able to unlock any of the doors. So, after trying some things out (and failing) it came down to using an extension cord and a hair dryer. Luckily that worked and I was able to get into my car. The engine was a little rough sounding when it started it up and I thought it was going to stall, luckily it didn’t. After it warmed up it was good to go as usual. Now, I have to get some lock deicer for tonight since I’ll be in and out and locking and unlocking the car a lot during deliveries. Should be interesting!

As that title says the snow and cold has come back once again! It was an iffy week or so with rain and warm temperatures, all of the snow had actually disappeared completely, which is weird to see in January. But, the winds started picking up and the cold had quickly come back during Saturday night making for a cold Sunday and beginning of the week.

The road conditions Sunday night were terrible, and they didn’t get cleaned off until Monday sometime. Since I live on a gravel road my road was MUCH worse than anywhere else and I’m not sure if it was cleaned up at all. The main roads were bad Sunday night though, just cruising in 5th gear at a steady speed my tires would start spinning at random times. But, I get paid to drive/deliver (pizzas) so I got to do it! I also love it when people also say, “Man, glad I’m not driving anywhere tonight!”

“Tell me about it” I respond.

Anyways, back to the point. As of this afternoon my lovely Honda Accord sits at 355 594 kilometers, that’s 185 kilometers since Friday night, 70 of which I believe were just from Sunday night!
